About the Books

When is your next book out?

THE PLAYER, the final installment in the Game Maker erotica series is out now. WICKED ABYSS, the next Immortals After Dark installment, is scheduled for April 25, 2017. THE DARK CALLING, next up in the Arcana Chronicles series, will be released spring 2017. For the latest publication announcements, check out my Facebook page.

Where can I find more info on your books & a reading order?

For extended excerpts etc., check out the books page. For book listings by series and reading order, see the downloadable booklist.

Will Nïx ever get her own book?

The Ever-Knowing One still has much to do for the current Accession. She’ll definitely get her own story, but it will come later in the series.

How can I get an autographed book or book plate?

Due to the volume, we’re currently not set up to handle these requests. Please come see me or have a friend come by one of my signings (see Appearances & Signings). Occasionally, signed copies are offered for order directly from a bookseller. We’ll announce any updates on my Facebook page & in my Newsletter

About the Writing

Why did you start writing? How long have you been writing?

When I was a kid, if someone had asked me if I was going to be a writer when I grew up, I would’ve answered, “Never. Nope. Not in a million years.” I actually hated reading and writing, didn’t read for pleasure until I was in my teens. After that, you couldn’t pry a book out of my hands, but writing came even later.

At one point, I wanted to be a meteorologist. I found out that meteorology involved math, so that was definitely out. I flee in the face of math.

I decided to try penning a romance because reading them was all I wanted to do.

I’d already been writing quite a bit for my undergraduate and graduate degrees, and my thesis taught me that I could complete a long work. Before then, I wouldn’t have thought it was possible.

What advice do you have for new writers looking to publish?

If you’re set on publishing, then don’t dabble. Decide if you’re in or you’re out. Then do whatever it takes to achieve your goals. I had a “25” plan. At any given time, I would have my writing out in 25 myriad forms—either contests, critiques, agent queries, publisher queries, etc. I believe you have to jump in with both feet.

Will you ever write another historical?

I currently don’t have any plans for another historical, but never say never!

Do you read unpublished works/manuscripts by other authors?

Unfortunately I’m unable to read unpublished manuscripts. Please don’t send us any materials as they will be deleted unread.

I’m a published author. Can I send you my book for a cover quote consideration?

Due to the number of blurb requests, I’m only able to consider those that come through my agent.
